History and Description

A.W. Mercer has been in business since 1926.

Located in Boyertown, PA, the company has drawn on the local skilled craftsmen who have dedicated themselves to the tradition of engineering and manufacturing quality products for our customers. Our 69,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility, built in 1989, is in the Ironstone Corporate Center.

We have many customers including Fortune 1000 organizations located in Japan, Italy, Canada, and the UK. Catering to customers that require engineering services, U.S. made product, quick turn around and qualified welders, A.W. Mercer is a key supplier in the global supplier network.

A.W Mercer specializes in sheet metal fabrications, tubular steel welded assemblies and in house powder coating and services the rail, material handling, HVAC, telecom and industrial markets with high quality and reasonably priced OEM parts.

With lot sizes ranging from 1 to 1,000, A.W. Mercer offers custom solutions to its ever- increasing customer base.

With an experienced engineering and production staff, A.W. Mercer is called upon to help with the design and manufacturing of their customers sheet metal and welded assembly's.

A.W. Mercer offers quick turnaround on "prototypes" and "first articles" to move the manufacturing process through production and quality inspection.

The entire facility is committed to the highest quality production available. Technological advances and processes have allowed us to provide our customers with diversified product and custom manufacturing capabilities, but it's our employees that make it happen.
